Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: April 30, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Grainium mobile application, website, or professional tools (collectively, the 'Service'), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service. These terms apply to all users, photographers, and visitors.
2. Community & Content
When you share photos or participate in the Grainium Community:
• You retain all ownership rights to your original photography.
• You grant Grainium a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your content within the community feed.
• You agree not to upload any illegal, offensive, or copyright-infringing material.
• We reserve the right to remove any content that violates our community standards.
3. Professional Tools Disclaimer
Grainium provides high-precision analog tools (Light Meter, Dev Timer, Negative View, etc.). However:
• These tools are provided for assistance only and should be verified against physical equipment.
• We are not responsible for spoiled film or development errors resulting from the use of our digital utilities.
• The 'Safe Light' feature is a digital representation and should be tested with a coin-test in your specific darkroom environment before use.
4. Grainium AI
Grainium AI provides photography assistance and stock identification. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated recipes and identifications are experimental. Always cross-reference AI suggestions with manufacturer-provided data sheets (PDS).
5. Subscriptions & Payments
Certain features of Grainium (e.g., Grainium Pro) may require a paid subscription. All payments are processed through secure third-party providers (Apple App Store / Google Play). Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
6. Intellectual Property
The Grainium name, logo, Prism UI Kit, and all proprietary software are the exclusive property of Grainium. You may not decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of our tools without explicit written permission.
